No. 5 Georgia Takes Opener Over Baseball, 7-4

Fifth-ranked Georgia (29-12-1/15-3-1 SEC) raced out to a 6-0 lead in the third inning on its way to a 7-4 victory over Florida (25-16/10-9 SEC) on Friday night at McKethan Stadium. Senior Bryson Barber (Pensacola, Fla.) clubbed a two-run homer in the seventh and was 2-for-4.
