LSU was the first school to offer Chris Faulk back in February. "I really like their recruiting coordinator (Josh Henson)," he said. "He's a great person and we've talked a few times and we have a good relationship. He's smart and seems to know how to have a good time too." For all the good things that have happened, and there have been plenty of them in this softball season that began a little over three months ago, Tim Walton is still looking for validation. His Florida Gators are 62-2, the number one ranked team in the nation and the top seed in the NCAA Tournament. They won both the SEC regular season and tournament championships and they have a 35-game winning streak. Five more wins and they tie the all-time record for wins in a single season in NCAA history. Yet, until the Gators make the College World Series, Walton says they are just another pretty good program.
