Donovan says system in need of fixing

In the summer of 2006, before he committed to play college basketball for Southern California, O.J. Mayo was still shopping to find a place to spend one year thanks to new rules that eliminated the option of going straight from high school to the NBA Draft. Mayo had led North College Hill to a couple of state championships in Cincinnati, Ohio but he had decided to go back to his home in Huntington, West Virginia for his senior year where he would team up with Patrick Patterson to lead Huntington High School to a state championship.
