In recent years, the Florida Gators have found success in New Jersey, landing players such as Phil Trautwein, Justin Trattou, Brendan Beal and Will Hill. The Gators are looking to continue their success in The Garden State in the recruiting class of 2009 and the top target is Anthony LaLota, a 6-5, 260-pound defensive end from The Hun School in Princeton. LaLota has narrowed down his own recruiting list to seven schools and Florida made the cut.

After leading his team to the championship of the big Reebok tournament in Las Vegas last week, there is very little doubt that the best player in the country for 2009 is Kenny Boynton (6-2, 180, Plantation, FL American Heritage, #3 ESPN Top 100). It seems just a matter of time before ESPN has to re-evaluate it's Top 100 and when that happens, Boynton should step to the head of the class.
