Dreams come true, Burton’s a Gator
Trey Burton always envisioned himself as the next Emmitt Smith or Fred Taylor. He always saw himself as the next great Florida tailback, not the next Danny Wuerffel or Tim Tebow but ever since he made the switch to quarterback after his freshman year, there has been no doubt what position he wanted to play at the next level. After Thursday night, there is also no doubt where he will be playing college football. He will get that chance to be the next Wuerffel or Tebow because Trey Burton is going to be a Gator.

Laying the foundation starts this weekend
One of the pillars in Urban Meyer’s recruiting philosophy is to start building relationships with the kids who will end up Gators long before they make it to campus. It makes sense. If you have a relationship with a kid for six months, a year, or even two years, they are far less likely to bolt at the first sign of adversity than a kid who the coaching staff simply didn‘t get to know.
