Gator Country Radio Show - May 24th

Gator Country Radio Show - April 20, 2007

In our April 20th episode, we will speak with Florida's first commit of the 2008 recruiting class- Earl Okine. We'll also hear from Gainesville High School assistant coach Steve Bauer. We'll then venture into the Tampa Bay area and talk more recruiting with Armwood running back Eric Smith and offensive lineman Matt Patchan. Middleton High School's Moses McCray will give us his thoughts on his college thoughts  .
We'll discuss Florida baseball and give you a sneak peak at the all new Gator Country Magazine. It all takes place between 10am-12pm. It's the most informative two hours in Gators sports.

Gator Country Radio Show - April 13th Edition

This week “The Gator Country Radio Show” promises to have you coached up in time for the Orange and Blue Game. Bob Redman, Franz Beard, Cody Jones and yours truly have been at the Florida practice sessions and look forward to giving you an idea of who to watch for and what you're likely to see.

We'll also have Wakulla safety CJ Holton talk about his Wednesday visit to the University of Florida practice session. We're especially pleased to receive a visit from a trio of spectacular basketball players who are certain to make Florida fans proud. They'll come on the show and will dispel the myth that the cupboard is bare in Gainesville, as we welcome Nick Calathes, Chandler Parsons, and Adam Allen.

Gator Country Radio Show - 3/16/07 Episode

In today's two hour show, we have plenty of action crammed in just for fellow Gator fans. We'll talk about the NCAA Tournament bracket action along with special focus on the Florida Gators with our own Larry Vettel. On top of that we'll cover the start of SEC conference play for Gator baseball — can they rebound from an average start to the season? Hear about it from the Florida Gator's Pat McMahon and MSU's Ron Polk.

Also, we'll hear from Coach Meyer as he talks about upcoming Spring Football, a recruiting interview with Miami Northwestern's Marcus Forston, and last but not least, we'll cover some more SEC team's spring practices (Auburn this time) to get a sneak peak at our opponents. Don't miss out!

Gator Country Radio Show - 3/9/07 Episode

In our third week, we have another full schedule for your listening pleasure with Gator Country Radio’s Mark McLeod:

Friday’s show begins with a segment on Gator basketball with Franz Beard who is covering the SEC Tourney in Atlanta. Franz has been with the team just about every step of their two year journey into national prominence and will continue to deliver some excellent inside information on the team.

As you’ve seen from our website, Gator Country as out in full force to cover UF’s NFL Pro Day. Hollywood Bob will update you on this and provide more insight into what happened on the field and what may come ahead with a few recruiting tidbits thrown in.

Some of the interviews you’ll hear are with Dallas Baker, Jarvis Moss, Brandon Siler, Reggie Nelson, Reggie Lewis, Tremaine McCollum, and DeShawn Wynn.

Then, Gator Country’s Photographer/Reporter extraordinarie Tim Casey will join in with us and give you an update on the Gator Baseball program.

Last, but not least, Gator Country’s Recruiting Reporter for South Florida in Cody Jones will be calling in to update us on several top prospects the Gators are hot after, whom he’s spoken to. Cody’s a real treat to listen to.
